Application Support Specialist

We are seeking to recruit an Application Support, for one of our clients, a leader in the hospitality industry in Malta. If you are looking for a new challenge, we at Ceek would love to hear from you!

What is expected of you?

• Communicate with end users, provide end user support and training
• Manage and prioritize multiple open cases at one time
• Provide support of new applicants
• Liaise with vendors to install and test new releases
• Manage workload and prioritize to accomplish tasks within agreed timeframes
• Analyse existing data and metrics to determine trends and performance
• Troubleshoot simple to complex issues as reported by end users
• Determine recurring application issues and ensure a permanent solution
• Document existing and new steps, workflows and procedures
• Demonstrate initiative and proven follow through skills

What are you expected to bring?

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the same field
• Working experience with SQL scripting, Server Reporting Services(SSRS), therefore Documents Management System, and Jira
• Excellent knowledge of Prince2 methodologies is an asset
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Great knowledge of object-oriented and test-driven development concepts
